Vicki Allen

Vicki Allen, 64, of Wichita, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 11, 2024, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. In her earlier years, Vicki found joy in gardening, reading, watching crime shows, and was known for her love of music! She was married to Denton Keleher from 1977-1994 and to this union, two children were born, Kristin and Cole. Her second love resulted in a marriage to Mark Grote from 1995-2019.

She is survived by her stepmother Wanda Girard and loving sisters Sharon Toal (Jim) from California, Janna Kaba (Kent), and Sandi Parker (Christi Jones) all from Wichita as well as her children, Kristin Sickler (Daniel) and Cole Keleher, both residing in Wichita, and Cassie Grote (Chris Cox) of Andover, her cherished grandchildren Michael Moote (Katelyn) from Conroe, TX, Hailey Moote, Daniel Sickler both from Wichita, and two great-grandchildren.

Among those mourning her loss are nieces Sheila ( Ray) Krablin Walker, Heather Krablin, and nephew Michael (Kristine) Krablin all of California.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Jo Ann (Kenny) Allen and Bill Parker, all from Wichita, and her son Matthew Crowder from Andover.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family is holding a celebration of life April 21st at 1:30 PM at 842 N. Toh N Hah Trl. Wichita, KS 67212.
