Agnes Ann (Engelbrecht) Jarvis

ANDALE - Jarvis, Agnes Ann (Engelbrecht), 84, lost her courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease on Dec. 11, 2012. She was born Sept. 22, 1928, in Wichita, Kan., and married Laurence Jarvis on May 10, 1949, in Andale, Kan. She was a retired dietary cook for U.S.D. 267 and retired in 1993. She was the daughter of Ben C. and Annie (Giefer) Engelbrecht. Preceded in death by her husband, Laurence; son, Larry L. Jarvis; and her parents. Survivors: daughters, Margaret and Glen Martin, Andale, Kan., Jeannette Jarvis, Jannice and Larry Easter, Beth and Ron Taylor, all of Wichita, Kan.; brother, Bernie Engelbrecht, Andale, Kan.; grandchildren, Erin, Kara, Ryan, Gail, Christa, Austin, Cody; and 8 great-grandchildren. Rosary Friday, 7 p.m., St. Joseph Catholic Church, Andale, Kan. Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Andale, Kan., interment, St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
