Alan P. Graves

Alan P. Graves, 74, retired mechanical engineer for Boeing and Spirit, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024.

Alan was born December 20, 1949 to Frank and Mildred (Porter) Graves.  He was a voracious reader, enjoyed making model planes and cars and was an avid Jeopardy and Price is right watcher-people knew not to call him when he was watching. He most loved being with his family.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and his brother David. He is survived by: his loving wife, of 51 years, Maria; and daughters, Jennifer Graves and Kaitlin (Greyson) Thompson.

A visitation with the family present will be 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Mt. Hope, Kansas (120 N. King St.) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Mt. Hope United Methodist Church (105 S. King St. Mt. Hope, Kansas 67108).
