Alan R. Horsch, 76, passed away on February 24, 2024. He was born January 15, 1948 to Elmer and Loretta Horsch in Wichita, Kansas. Alan married Dana Ewertz on April 27, 1974 and together they had three children, Jacob, Jessica and Travis. Alan served in the Army National Guard, worked at Love Box, Pratt Industries and Sedgwick County before he retired.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Loretta Horsch; sister, Norma Jean Blasi, and grandchild, Ethan D. Coffman.
He is survived by sons, Jacob Horsch, Travis Horsch; daughter, Jessica (Justin) Coffman; brothers, Gerald “Butch” Horsch, Bob Horsch, Joe Horsch, Bill Horsch, Dave Horsch, Kent Horsch; sisters, Betty Horsch, Brenda Norris, Donna Armstrong, Janet Brown; and six grandchildren.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Andale, Kansas on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 6:30 pm.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Andale, Kansas on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:30 am.
