Barbara Ellen (Huff) Schmidt

Barbara Ellen Schmidt, 84, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 4, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband; Paul and siblings; Ina Jean Wampler and Delbert James Huff. Barbara is survived by her children; Lisa (Joe) Mertes, Stephen Schmidt and Jana Mitchell. Brother; Clarence "C.F." (Susann) Huff. 7 grandchildren; Micah (Erin), Natalie, Noel Mertes, Misha, Sasha and Nikita Schmidt and Lula (Thomas) Moore.`1 great grandchild; Onawa Uribe. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Mt. Hope City Cemetery 28700 W. 93rd Street No. in Mt. Hope, Kansas.
