Catherine Rose (Gappa) Dooley

Catherine Rose Dooley, 84, retired kitchen manager for Garden Plain High School passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. She was born on April 25, 1940 to Frank and Virginia (Kudek) Gappa in El Reno, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by Joe Dooley and brothers; Vincent, Francis Paul and Tony Gappa. Catherine is survived by her children; Steve (Cyndi) Dooley, Debbie (Brian) Pauly, Phil (Shelly) Dooley and Janette (Dane) Childs. Sister; Mary Gappa. 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. Recitation of the rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2nd and a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 3rd both at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Garden Plain, Kansas. in lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Lord's Diner 520 North Broadway Wichita, Kansas 67214 or to Faith Home Health and Hospice 7309 E. 21st Street North Wichita, Kansas 67206.  Wulf-Ast Mortuary--Garden Plain Chapel
