Charles F. Hower

Charles F. Hower, 83, passed away in Wichita on Sunday, August 24th, 2025.  He is survived by his son John Hower and wife Suzie Hower of Peyton, CO;  also granddaughter Kinley Hower of Peyton, CO.  

He was born November 17th, 1941 in Harviell, MO to John and Grace (Delaney) Hower.  Charles attended high school in Cherryvale, KS where he excelled in basketball and track along with being a member of a singing quartet.  There he met the love of his life Sharon Knight and they were married from 1960 until her passing in 2024.  

Using his strong mechanical aptitude Charles had a long career in aviation manufacturing as well heating and air conditioning repair. 

He loved music, movies, history, flying RC airplanes, and his family. 

Per his wishes there will not be a funeral service.
