Cheryl Cooper Obituary

Cheryl Lynn (Meek) Cooper, age 80, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1945. She enjoyed volunteering with the Family Services helping set up military families with all their needs during relocation assignments, earning numerous awards for her commitment in helping others. She continued to dedicate the rest of her career in the medical field by receiving her CNA and CMA certificates where she served as a nurse’s aide and med aide for 30 years splitting the time between The Manor and Clearwater Retirement Community in Clearwater Kansas. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Doris (Sveen) Meek.

Survived by children, Cameron (Missy) Cooper, Lisa Worthen, Chad (Brandi) Cooper; sister, Gail (Tom) Marlow; brother, Robert (Anita) Meek; grandchildren, CJ (Twerp), Dustin, Kade, Parker, Jessica, Zachary, and Jordyn; great-grandchildren, Corbin, Cherylnn, Emma, Violet, Tyken.
