Daniel Ross McMahon

Daniel Ross McMahon, born March 28, 1951, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him.

Daniel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Lova Lorraine McMahon; his sons, Andrew Robert McMahon and Christopher Ross McMahon; and his cherished granddaughter, Allison Elizabeth McMahon, who brought him great joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace McMahon and Valda McMahon, and by his brother, Steven McMahon.

Daniel spent his professional career as a financial advisor, where he was known for his integrity, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care for the people he served. Beyond his work, he was deeply committed to his community. He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts, generously giving his time and mentorship to young people and helping shape strong values in future generations.

Daniel had a lifelong passion for helping others. Whether through quiet acts of kindness or dedicated service, he consistently placed the needs of others before his own. His compassion, steady presence, and willingness to lend a helping hand left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Daniel will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his community, and his unwavering kindness. His legacy of generosity and service will live on through those he loved and inspired.

A private memorial service will be held with his family.
