Darin William Sims

Darin William Sims, 36, of Haysville, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Born on December 4, 1988, Darin brought joy and love to those who knew him throughout his life.

Darin is lovingly remembered by his parents, Mother Stacy Hess of Towanda and Father Rusty Sims (Heather) of Wichita; his children Aiden, Anna-Lee, and Denver, all of Wichita; as well as his four sisters and two brothers. He also leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Lewis and Janice Sims; grandfather Charles Tracy; great-grandmother Loleta Tracy; and uncles Danny Sims and Ray Tracy.

Darin had a passion for cars and trucks that reflected his hands-on spirit and enthusiasm for life. His love for these hobbies was evident to all who knew him.

A celebration of Darin’s life will be held at Epic Church, located at 7011 E. Central in Wichita, KS, on February 1, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of the vibrant life he lived.

Darin will always be in our hearts and greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
