David Lynn Goodman

David Lynn Goodman, 68, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at the Wichita VAMC Hospice, after a battle with cancer. He was born on July 10, 1956, in Marshall, Arkansas, and was reunited in death with his parents, Jess and Nola. David is survived by his brother, Norman; stepfather, Keith; 2 stepsisters, Carol and Diane; two nephews; three great-nephews; two great-nieces; close friends, Daphne and Steve. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A proud veteran, David served in both the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Marines. He later retired from Cessna in Wichita, Kansas. David was known for his humor, kindness, and willingness to help others. He enjoyed playing golf, watching football, and engaging in political discussions. A private celebration of life will be held at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas, for family and close friends. In honoring David, we encourage you to celebrate his life by laughing often and showing kindness to others.
