Duane Winter Obituary

Duane Winter, 68, passed away peacefully on August 21st, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifelong farmer and worked as a Trucker and Warehouseman at Dillons Warehouse for 26 years in Goddard, Kansas. Duane was a kind, gentle and funny man who loved animals. He enjoyed raising cattle, and a good cup of coffee. He appreciated driving and observing the countryside, working hard for family and friends in need, spending time in conversation with good people, and closely following local and Kansas sports. He is deeply loved and will be extremely missed. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Marcella Winter; and brother, Joseph Winter.

Duane is survived by his daughter, Cecilia (Jake) Hephling; son, Logan (Molly) Winter; grandchildren, Charles, Henry, Elise, and Joey; sisters, Kathy (Bob) Cooper, Joan (Bill) Randall, and Carol (Rick) Schock.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will by said on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 7:00 pm and the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:30 am, both at St Joseph Catholic Church in Andale, Kansas.
