Felix A. Gorges, 69, retired flight mechanic for the Kansas Air National Guard and dairy farmer, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024
He loved grandkids, motorcycles, being a marine, hot dog roasts, visiting lakes, and dairy farming.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Rita (Rousseau) Gorges. Felix is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kim (Vogelgesang), children, Andrew (Katie) Gorges, Vanessa (Bronson) Kampling, all of Cheney, Melissa (Eric) Stuhlsatz of Garden Plain, Emma (Jordan) Diskin of Wichita, Alex (Alice) Gorges of Garden Plain, Laura (Ben) Bergkamp of Cheney, Anna (Nick) Gehring, Leah (Ryan) Acton, all of Wichita; siblings, Albert (Colette) Gorges of Wichita, Fred (Chris) Gorges of Clearwater, Annette (Dennis) McAtee of Tulsa, OK, Mary (Doug) Kohls of Clearwater, Matt (Diane) Gorges of Boswell, OK, Bernadette (Kavin) Cordell, Monica (Martin) Maus, all of Viola, Rev. Bernie Gorges of Ost, Bill Gorges, Jr, (Jody) of Viola, Joe (Kathy) Gorges of Colwich; 24 grandchildren and 2 on the way.
Recitation of Rosary will be said at 7:00pm on Monday, May 27th and the funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:30am, both at St. Mary Catholic Church, Aleppo, 25741 W. 13th St. N., Garden Plain, KS 67050. Father Bernard X. Gorges will be the celebrant.
