Georgia Marie (Likes) Kaba

Georgia Marie (Likes) Kaba, 76, passed to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

She was a retired secretary at First Presbyterian Church and had also worked at the Presbyterian Office in Wichita, Kansas. After retirement she worked as a volunteer at Economy Corner.  She also worked at Best Western Offices and Kansas Children’s League.

She attended Wichita Christian Academy on Maize Road, East High and graduated from South High in 1966.

Georgia attended Faith Baptist Church in Wichita and later First Baptist Church in Maize.

She loved to travel.  She and her husband Don had been all over the United States and many places overseas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don of almost 40 years and her parents Percy and Gladys Likes.

Georgia is survived by: Brothers-in-law, Kent (Jana) Kaba, Bill (Liz) Kaba, Scott (Cindy) Kaba, Tim (Mary) Kaba; Sister-in-law, Kerri (Mike) Smith and Judy (Doug) Frahm; 14 nieces and nephews and many friends, ladies of bible study groups and longtime acquaintances.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Lakeview Funeral Home (12100 E. 13th St. N Wichita, Kansas 67206).
