Gerald L. McMillen

Gerald L. McMillen, 83, passed away peacefully to join his beloved wife Barbara on December 19, 2023. He was born in Peabody, Kansas to Clifford and Flora McMillen. Gerald married the love of his life, Barbara, in October of 1964 and together they had two children, Jeff and Tonya. Gerald had a zest for life and was willing to help anyone at any time with anything they might need. He was very witty, always quick with a funny comeback. Gerald also loved cars and was the co-founder of River City Rods and Customs. Gerald was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Flora McMillen; wife, Barbara McMillen, and brother, Daryl McMillen.

Gerald is survived by son, Jeff McMillen; daughter, Tonya Corsiglia-Trapp (Mark); sister, Margaret Jones; granddaughter Taylah Corsiglia; and nephew Kevin Jones.

A visitation will be held at Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Colwich, Kansas on January 2, 2024, from 2-7 pm with family greeting friends from 4-7 pm.

A funeral for Gerald will be held at Central Community Church 6100 W Maple St, Wichita, KS 67209 on January 3, 2024, at 10:30 am. The service will be livestreamed from the Central Community Church Facebook page. 

Memorial contributions may be given to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
