Jason "Bubba" Smith Obituary

Jason “Bubba” Michael Smith, 53, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 23, 2025. He was born on December 31, 1971, in Wichita, Kansas, to Von “Smitty” and Janet Smith.

Jason was preceded in death by his parents, Von L. Smith and Janet K. Smith. He is survived by his siblings, Jana (Dan) Johnson and Jon (Lacy) Smith; nieces and nephews, Scott (Lacy) Smith, Dani (Ronnie) Panciera, Brandon Smith, Bryant (Nikki) Johnson, Kyle (Cinthya) Smith, and Savanna Johnson; as well as several great-nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life, in honor of Bubba, will be held 12:00-5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 400 W. Main in Mount Hope, Kansas.
