Jeanette C. (Jostes) Robben

Jeanette C Robben, 84, retired registered nurse entered into the hands of the Lord on May 7, 2024.  She was born on January 23, 1940 to Raymond and Leona (Gabel) Jostes in Beloit, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings – Richard Jostes, James Jostes, and Mary (Daryel) Ryberg. Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Henry; children Jennifer (David) Kidd, John (Kay) Robben, Rebecca (Jared) McGinley, Diana (Brad) Stevens, and Joseph (Gwen) Robben, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.   Jeanette graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in 1960.  After working part-time and taking some time to raise children, she began full time at St. Francis hospital in 1977.  Upon retirement in 2006, she had reached the position of Clinical Leader on the cardiac floor.  Jeanette was active in Daughters of Isabella and the Altar Society.  She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities and spending “farm days” with her family.

Recitation of the Rosary will be Monday, May 13, 2024, at 7:00 pm and the funeral mass will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:30 am; both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ost.
