Jerome J Thimesch

Thimesch, Jerome J., 76, passed away on Oct. 1, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. Jerome was born on May 14, 1936 to Frank and Helen (Mies) Thimesch. Jerome retired from Cessna. He was a school bus driver for the Renwick school district #267. He also farmed for many years. Jerome was a 4th Degree Knight and volunteered for the Garden Plain religion classes. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jeannette Dick; brother, Kenneth Thimesch; and sister Constance Rigsby. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Catherine (Martin) Thimesch; children, Valerie (Damon) Hermes, Jason (Christina) Thimesch; son-in-law Bennie Dick II; brothers and sisters, Robert, Charles, Leon, Richard and Gary Thimesch, Darlene Robinson, Mary Frances Flores, Betty Jo McLaughlin. He has eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two step-grandchildren, one step-grandchild. Rosary will be Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at 8 p.m. and Funeral Mass will be Friday, Oct. 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., both at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas.
