Judith (Judy) Ann Freeman, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband Adrian (Abe) Freeman, parents Clarence and Frieda Castor, Brothers Jim (JoAnne), Ray and Tom Castor; sisters Clareda Pfeiffer (Willis) and Shelley (Ray) Martin.
Judy is survived by her sister Florence Tyler and sisters-in-law Alice and Durlene Castor; daughter Lisa (Brad) Greenwood, stepdaughters Jan (Del) Fogg, Diane Coco, Carol (Keith) Marcum; grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews and dear friends who loved her greatly.
Judy was an avid golfer for many years. She and Abe played many rounds of golf at their homes in Wichita, Tulsa, and Bella Vista. Judy was also known for her volunteer work with various organizations and her church.
A memorial reception will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Asbury Church 2801 W. 15th N. in Wichita, Ks.
Judy will be remembered for her witty personality and generous nature. In lieu of flowers a donation in her honor to an Alzheimer’s organization or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
