Judith "Judy" M Thimesch

Judith M. "Judy" Thimesch, 80, died peacefully on September 27, 2023 at Villa Maria Nursing Home in Mulvane , Kansas, after dealing with the lifetime effects of getting polio when she was 14 years old. She was born on October 17, 1942 in Cheney, Kansas to Joe and Olga Thimesch. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Robert, nephew; Mike Thimesch, sister-in-law; Kathy, brother-in-laws; Alvin Merrill and Bill May.  She is survived by siblings; Dan (Ruth) Thimesch, Irene Merrill, Carolyn (Duane) Bergkamp and Janice May. Judy was the historian of the family, her nieces and nephew were amazed how she could recall events and dates from years ago. The family wishes to thank Villa Maria Nursing Home and Good Shepherd Hospice for the excellent care that she received. Recitation of the rosary will be said at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. both at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Garden Plain, Kansas.
