Justin "Gus" Landwehr, 53, of Colwich, passed away at home on the morning of March 21, 2026.
He is survived by his sister, Donna Landwehr; his girlfriend, Michelle Bocook; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mary Ann (Mies) Landwehr, and his brother, Gerard.
Gus could always be found outdoors. Hunting, fishing, shooting trap, and helping on the farm were among his favorite pastimes. He never knew a stranger and loved sharing stories of his adventures.
For 24 years he worked at B&B Lumber as a driver and forklift operator.
A rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 19230 W 29th St. N., Colwich, KS 67030
In true Gus fashion, guests are invited to dress casually-- let's see all of that camo in honor of our favorite outdoorsman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Sunflower Gun Club, Victory of the Valley, and St. Mark's Church.
