Karen Lynn Huskamp, 84, was born on July 22,1939 in Western, Nebraska the third child of George and Florence Butt. She passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, February 23,2024.
Karen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her crafts and needlework, was a cosmetologist, teacher and bookkeeper. Karen also enjoyed her time as a caregiver for Stephen Ministries for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Randall Ellis, brother Kenneth Butts and sister Marilyn Speer. Karen is survived by her loving husband of 51 years; Mike, children; Diana (Gilbert) Sanford and Kenny (Laurie) Ellis. Sister; Kaye (Floyd) Gruver. 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Funeral services for Karen will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Ascension Lutheran Church, Wichita, KS. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Scott City, KS Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Karen's name to Wulf-Ast Mortuary, 911 Biermann, Garden Plain, KS 67050.
