Karla Shelinbarger

Karla Jean (Weaver) Shelinbarger, 51, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Karla was born December 19, 1971 to Clayton and Cheryl (Roman) Weaver. She was raised in Derby, Kansas and graduated from Derby High School in 1990. She is survived by her parents; sister, Angie (Jerry) Starkey; sons Drew (Jenna) Shelinbarger and Derek (Rachel) Shelinbarger; grandchildren Elyse, Clayton, Blakely, Lincoln and Lainey; along with nieces and nephews. Karla loved spending time with family and spending time outdoors working in her yard. She also had many cats that she adored. She touched many lives with her kindness and big heart and was always putting others before herself. Karla will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, January 6th, at the 47th Street Church of Christ, 691 W. 47th St. South, Wichita, Kansas 67217.
