Katrina Marie Bernhardt

Katrina Marie Bernhardt (43) gained her wings on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at St.Francis Hospital in Wichita, Ks. She was born on September 7, 1980 to Amelia and Chris Bernhardt in Ellsworth, Ks. 

Katrina was known to be the perfect mix of fierce, fiesty, and compassionate with the absolute best sense of humor. She loved hard and fought even harder for those she called family and friends. Even during her worst moments, she was more concerned with checking in on everyone around her than for herself and was a caregiver to her core.  She found joy in her career as a CMA for over 20 years and was an amazing caregiver and advocate for her residents.

She was preceded in death by her mother Amelia Bernhardt.

Continuing on in her honor is her Fiancé Dorion Stewart, Grandmom Ida Mae Goodman, Father Chris Bernhardt, Brothers Adrian Bernhardt and Jeremy Bernhardt.  Maternal Children: Tomica Bernhardt, Christina Bernhardt-Purdy, Chynna Saldaña, Sebastian Bernhardt-Purdy, Aidan Bernhardt-Purdy, Alican Kinyon, and Teigyn Stewart. Grandkids: Devanna Bernhardt, Kayara Bernhardt, Mirah Douglas, Kai Saldaña, loads of nieces/nephews, and her work family and residents at Prairie Sunset Home.

Memorials may be made to the Teigyn Stewart account or Katrina Bernhardt Memorial account in care of Citizens Bank of Kansas in Pretty Prairie.

Family and friends are hosting a potluck style dinner and celebration of Katrina's life on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 5pm-8pm at the Livingstons Reception Hall, 1830 North Main, Kingman Ks 67068.
