Loretta E (Gegen) Simon

COLWICH - Simon, Loretta E. (Gegen), 91, homemaker, died May 10, 2014. Loretta was born July 17, 1922 in Colwich to Jacob and Anna (Mainz) Gegen. She married Bernard J. Simon in Colwich on September 4, 1946. Survivors include, sons; Don (Diane) Simon of St. Mark, Kevin Simon of Andale, Kenneth Simon of Andale, Dale (Teri) Simon of Colwich and Dean (Missi) Simon of Cheney, daughter; Dianne (Dave) Carter of Wichita, sister; Jean Haukap of Garden Plain, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Loretta is preceded in death by her husband; Bernard, a son; David A. Simon, brothers; Frank and Joe Gegen, and sisters; Irene and Alvina Mertes. Calling times will be on Monday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Rosary will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 7 p.m. and a funeral service will follow on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., both at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich with Father Ken Schuckman officiating.
