Marjorie E Smith, 92 passed away April 10, 2026 at Sterling Village after a short illness. Born December 23 1933 at Fall River KS to Charles Raymond and Susan Elnora (Stubbert) Rowan. She was the youngest of their children.
Marjorie worked at various jobs some of which where at the Larned State Hospital in the laundry. When in Hutchinson she worked at Consolidated MFG before moving to Arkansas and working at General Tire in Batesville. After returning to Nebraska she worked for the Lexington Hospital. Marjorie spent time in the Barnston and Pawnee City Nebraska before making the decision to move closer to 3 of her children in 2016 when she moved to Sterling Kansas.
Marjorie is survived by her children Robert Lee Weible Jr and wife Judy of Walla Walla WA, Charles David Weible of Partridge KS, Cecil Gordon Weible Sr of Hutchinson and Evangeline Ellen Bowman and husband Max of Langdon KS. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 23 Great grandchildren and 17 Great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Lavonia M Snodgrass and Thomas R Rowan, a daughter in law Linda Weible, grandson Timothy Gordon Hougham and granddaughter Heather Marie Peel.
Cremation has taken place, burial will be at a later date in Stop Table Cemetery located in Elim Township Custer County Nebraska.
