Mark Leroy Wallace

Mark Leroy Wallace, 66, retired machinist, born on July 28, 1958, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Milton and Helen Wallace, passed away peacefully with his brother Scott, cousin Linda Summerville, and brother-in-law Randal at his side, on August 20, 2024, at the Robert Dole VA Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Mark was preceded in death by his beloved second wife, Cathy Wallace; his parents, Milton and Helen Wallace; his brothers, Robert and Brian Wallace; and his sister, Ronda Hernandez.

He is survived by his first wife and mother of his children, Charlotte Wallace, and their children: Arvella Walton (Henry), Matthew Wallace, Latichia Wallace (Mike), Loren Wallace (Tabitha), and Shandra Wallace (James). He is also survived by his younger brother, M. Scott Strong-Wallace (Randal); his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Wallace, Diane Dorner, and Linda Keeler; his brother-in-law, Paul Hernandez; 20 grandchildren: Lamere Walton, Henry Walton Jr., Martin Sutton, Kristian Shelley, Jonathan Sutton, Anastasia Smith,  Matthew Sutton, Gabriel Trahan, Jared Sutton, Alex Thalheim, Conner Thalheim, Joselyn Thalheim, Tyler Sutton, Briar Wallace, Finley Wallace, Samantha Sutton, Caleb Walton, Phoebe Walton, Simon Sutton, and Journey Wallace, 5 Great-Grandchildren; Noelle Walton, Zymeir Walton, Jahmony Walton, Lay-anna Walton, and Lamere Walton Jr.; 2 nieces, Erin Wallace and Kayleen Grider ; 3 nephews Dustin Hernandez, Benjamin Wallace, and Andrew Wallace; 9 grandnieces and grandnephews and numerous cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral with full Military Honors and inurnment will be held on August 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas.
