Martina Mary Hilger

Ost- Martina Mary Hilger, 96, retired kitchen manager and farm wife, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

She was born December 29, 1927 to Ferdinand J and Francis Haukap.

She married Norbert Hilger May 9, 1950 and shared their life for 69 years until Norbert passed in 2019.

Martina is survived by: daughters, Denice (Tom) Finn and Bev Hoheisel; sons, Neal (Geri) Hilger and Keith Hilger; 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; and one sister, Vera May.

Rosary will be Tuesday, December 3, at 7:00 P.M.  with funeral mass Wednesday, December 4, at 10:30 A.M. Both at St. Joseph Catholic Church Ost, KS

Father Bernie X. Gorges officiating. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
