Mary Rose (Youngers) Eck

Mary Rose Eck, 91, Retired floral designer and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, October 30, 2023. Mary Rose was born on October 1, 1932 to Frank & Josephine (Bohrer) Youngers in Willowdale, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; John. Brothers; Herman, Louis (Alice), Robert, Harold, Paul, James (JoAnn), Joseph (Sandra), Julius and Elmer Youngers. Sisters; Helen (Charlie) Gehlen, Frances youngers, Genevieve (Martin) Miller, Theresa (Cliff) Elpers and Alice (Edgar) Burenheide. Sister-in-law: Mariann (Norbert) Eck Hampel. Mary Rose is survived by her children; Elaine (Gary) Squires, Belinda (Hugh) Rausch, Nancy (Donald) Jackson and John (Regina) Eck. Sister-in-law; Alfreda Youngers. 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Recitation of the Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Novemeber 2, 2023 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 both a St. Rose Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent in Mary Rose's name to St. Rose Catholic Church Building Fund. 4813 NE 150th Cheney, Kansas 67025.
