Melville M. "Bud" Johnson

Melville Mack "Bud" Johnson, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully at 92 years old on March 25, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Bud owned and operated Bud Johnson and Associates for 40 years. He was a devout Christian who lived his faith daily and was known for his love of family and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Johnson; daughter Debbie Haddock and her children Briston Haddock and Kinsley and John Sachse and their two sons; son Jeff Johnson and his children Alexander and Nivarni Johnson, Remington and Reese Johnson and their 3 sons, and Madison Johnson; and son Brad Johnson and his wife Julie, and their daughters Samantha, Natalie, and Olivia Johnson. He is also survived by his brother Darry and Lavina Johnson along with their children and grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 1600 W. 27th St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67204.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Valley UMC Care Team or Flatland Fly Fishers, 2708 N. Athenian, Wichita, Kansas 67204.
