Michael Eugene Sours

Michael Eugene Sours, age 66 died on January 23, 2025, at Hutchinson Hospice House. Mike was born February 1, 1958, in Salt Lake City, UT. The Son of Gene Sours and Lois (Klein) Sours. 

Mike has sense been a long time Plevna, Ks resident.  He graduated from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, IL. He was an active member in the Plevna community serving on the city council and the Fire Department for 15 years. He was an avid lover of all sports and listening to any and all types of music. He loved spending time with friends and family hunting and fishing. 

He is survived by 3 sisters Deborah (Sours) Griffin of Plevna, Ks., Diane (Sours) Scott, of Kerns UT., and Lisa (Sours) Wheeler, of Canton, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 siblings Terry, Keith, Janet (Sours) Westerhouse, and sister-in-law Roxanne (Hughes) Sours. 

Celebration of life will take place on February 6, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Plevna Community Church.
