Michael Lee Wiens

Michael Lee Wiens, 71 of Hutchin son, died on June 15, 2026.

Mr. Wiens was born June 25, 1954 to Edwin & Lorene (Swepston) Wiens in Hutchinson, KS

Michael loved to fish and shared many memories with his girls at the lake. He was very funny and loved to laugh, he was the first to always be cracking some joke!! Music meant the most to Michael, he would sing to his girls, even over the phone, and he loved listening to George Jones.

He is survived by his daughters and their children, Michael’s grandchildren. Bobbi Kubliski, Kristin, Annalea & Aaron; Shana Arzate, Siaira, Isalia, Aleyna & Seheia; Angela (Michael) Stout, Devin; April Ballard, Ernest, Ilijah, Corinna, Layla, Billy, Charlie, Aubrey & Autumn; Michelle Huerta, Angel, Gemma & Gauge; his sister, Tina Latimer; a niece & nephew, Lisa & Jessie; cousin, Amos Sweptson, Jr.

At the request of the family there will be no formal services. Michael’s wishes were to be cremated.
