COLWICH - Winter, Norbert J., 85, retired Coleman Co. employee, died Nov. 12, 2012. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Wulf-Ast Mortuary; Rosaries 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday; Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Thursday, all at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Ken Schuckman officiating; interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Mr. Winter was born July 9, 1927, in Mt. Hope, Kan. to the late John J. and Barbara (Bogner) Winter. On Aug. 9, 1952, he married Arlene J. Lickteig in Westphalia, Kan. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Irene Roths, Geraldine Malone, Rita Schneider, Aurelia Winter. Survivors: wife, Arlene J.; son, Bart (Judi) of Wichita; daughters, Pamela A. (Rex) Barnes of Colorado Springs, Colo., Denise K. (Marc) Brown, Lisa (Gene) Gutschenritter both of Wichita, Sara A. (Clark) Osborn of Miami, Okla.; brother, John (Joan) of Mt. Hope; sister, Almeda Seiler of Colwich; 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial established with Sacred Heart Building Fund.
