Norma Ann (Maltby) Lybarger, age 80 passed away January 8, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Doris Shutts Maltby, brothers Ronald “Jack” Maltby and Jerry Maltby, and sister Carol Meador.
She is survived by husband Terry Lybarger, sons Jerry Logan and Forest Lybarger, daughter Teresa Pepe, sisters Peggy (Victor) Foust and Teri (Charles) Frank, 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Norma worked at Furr’s Cafeteria as a baker for over 20 years. Her cooking skills were excellent and she loved to entertain. She loved flowers and working in her yard. She truly had a green thumb and had the best looking yard in her neighborhood.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church for many years. She was very active serving as a Deacon, on the Committee for the 100 Year Celebration, a member of Pairs and Spares Program and in many other capacities.
Norma was beloved by all who knew her, especially her nieces and nephews. She was generous and kind to all. She will be missed.
