Patty Rae Fisher

Patty Rae Fisher (1954-2024)

Patty Rae Fisher, 70, of Norton, Kansas, passed away on December 9, 2024, at Norton County Hospital in Norton from complications from diabetes. 

Patty was born in McCook, Neb. on September 17, 1954, to Harold and Lila Fisher.  She attended Norton Community Schools and received her associate’s degree from Colby Community College.  She was a Licensed Mental Health Technician.  Patty spent most of her life in service to others, working as a waitress, cook, Certified Dietary Manager, and caring for her family. 

Patty was preceded in death by her son, Cole Eugene Gutzman, her granddaughter LaNesha Grace Lane, her parents, and her sister Kitty.  She is survived by her children Heidi Lane-Davis, Norton, and Rachelle Lentz (Jesse), Hays; her grandchildren Gavin Gutzman Davis, Mercedes Davis, Taraja Lane-Davis, Norton,  and Terrell Lane, Dallas; her great granddaughter Laylah Lane, Wichita; her brother Tony (Becki), Scandia, Kansas and sister Terri Mercer (Duane) of Cozad, Nebraska, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Norton Cemetery.  A memorial account to assist with final expenses has been established at United Northwest Federal Credit Union, Norton, KS. Checks may be made out to Final expenses/Patty Fisher.
