Phyllis Leora (Nelson) Blacker

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Leora Nelson Blacker, 93, on March 10, 2025.

She was born January 18, 1932 to Ernest and Lillian Nelson in McPherson, Kansas.

Survivors include: two daughters, Kyla Eller and husband Jeff and Kelli McCormick and husband Joseph; stepson Kent Blacker and wife Sonya; and 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Virgil; her brother, Eugene; her son, Kirk; and her stepdaughter, Kathy.

Private family services will be at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Kingman County Humane Society (811 E. "C"  Avenue, Kingman, Kansas 67068).
