HAYSVILLE - Brubaker, Robert Lee, 79, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Bob was born in Mishawaka, IN, on May 28, 1944, to Harry and Helen Brubaker. He married Lynda Harris, on July 23, 1965. Their family grew to include children Daniel (Teresa) Brubaker, Aimee Pearce, Shawnda (Allen) Dunn; grandchildren Kandis (Corey), Taylor, Donovan (Xira), Krystal (Micah), Morghun (Goretti), Develand, Brady (Sandra), Noah, Mikayla (Xander), Shaun, Caleb, and Rebecca; great-grandchildren Serenity, Braydon, Casen, Mason, Eli, Ava, Mathias, Levi, Jade, and Finley, expected in March, as well as his beloved dog, Xiva. He is also survived by his sister, Judy (Dale) Mast. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Kineman.
Bob served as a faithful pastor for 12 years. He loved numbers and baseball, which played into his work as an accountant and his frequent attendance at NBC games in Wichita, and coaching softball for over 20 years.
The family is planning a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, at Prairie Trail Cowboy Church, 8552 S Broadway, Haysville.
