Ronald “Ronnie” “Ron” Dean Swope 80, passed away December 12th 2023 in Arkansas City Kansas at home. Born June 9th 1943 in Newkirk Oklahoma. Son of Franklin James “Bud” and Verda Alma Swope.Youngest of four boys.Raised in Newkirk Oklahoma.Loved life, working on cars, playing pool, and going to the casinos. Ron was a  Little rough around the edges, but had a great giving, caring and loving heart.He was preceded in death by his Wife Edith”Edie”Swope, Parent’s Franklin James Swope, Verda Alma Swope, Brother’s Delbert La Vern Swope, Robert “Bob” Lee Swope, Granddaughter Isobel Miers, Nephews Shane Howard Swope, Michael Lee Swope, Ronald is survived by Brother Frank Swope Jr. Children Rhonda Ann Swope of Arkansas City Kansas, Ryan Dean Swope and wife Jennifer of Arkansas City Kansas, Michael and wife Mary Dickey of Forsyth Missouri, Marj-Dickey Dobie and husband Rod Dobie of  Missouri, Tammy Dickey/Sam of Arkansas City Kansas. 10 Grand children and 25 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, numerous friends and his  beloved dog Brownie of 10 years.
