Ryan Dean Holley

Ryan Dean Holley, 58, of Cheney, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in Cheney.  Ryan was born at home on the family farm in Cheney on July 30, 1967 to Gary and Irene (Ruebke) Holley. Ryan attended Cheney schools and graduated in 1986.  He worked for Spurrier/Sebits farms for more than 20 years.  He also worked for the City of Garden Plain, Farmers Coop, Garden Plain school district, Goddard school district, and for the past ten years with the Cheney school district.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Holley and older brother, Randal Holley.  Ryan is survived by his mother, Irene; brother, Russell; sister, Renae, of Cheney; nephews, Derek and Dylan Van Lanen.

Memorial donations may be sent to Cheney Middle School/Cheney High School USD 268.

Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Monday, December 8, 2025 at Wulf-Ast Mortuary, 911 Biermann, Garden Plain, KS. Funeral service will be at 10:30am, Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Cheney Methodist Church, 406 W. 3rd, Cheney.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cheney, KS.
