Samantha Mumma

Colwich- Samantha Mumma, 21, of Colwich, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle against cancer. 

She was born May 2, 2003 in Wichita, the daughter of Blake and Kim (Kleinsorge) Mumma.  Samantha graduated from Andale Highschool in 2021 and was currently attending Hutchinson Community College.  Samantha was known for her kind and caring nature.

She is survived by: her parents, Blake and Kim Mumma; her sisters, Alexandra (Shane) Duncan and Aleaha Mumma; and her grandparents, Joan Mumma, Jeannie (Joe) Hemmen and Darrell Kleinsorge.  Samantha was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold Mumma.

The Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 and Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich. She will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Samantha’s name to American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741).
