Sharon Kay (Flynn) Griffin

Sharon Kay Griffin, 74, homemaker, passed peacefully into eternal life, surrounded by her family on July 25, 2025.  "Kay" was born on February 13, 1951, in Bedford, Indiana to Wilford & Geneva Flynn.  She graduated from Shawswick School and attended business college.  She married her "one and only true love", Ronald Griffin in 1970.  Kay was a devoted Christian.  She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, & friend to many.  Kay worked at "Fruhauf Uniforms" for over 34 years and enjoyed working in the design room until she retired.  She loved her Nascar, soap operas, reading, working hours on end on her wordsearches, playing cards, and spending time with family.  

Kay is preceded in death by: her husband, Ronald Griffin; her parents, Wilford & Geneva Flynn; her son, Steven Griffin; her brothers, Joseph Flynn and Louis Flynn; her sister, Carolyn Gould; and her great-granddaughter, Journey Thompson.  She is survived by: her daughter, Lisa (Steven) Maisch; her Daughter-in-law, Leah Griffin; her grandchildren, Courtney Nash, Kimberly Nash, Nicholas Griffin, Brittany Smith, Bella Griffin, Autumn Griffin, Kaitlyn Griffin, Aiden Griffin, Lilyanna Griffin, & Miles Griffin; and her great-grandchildren, Olivia Smith, Isabella Griffin, A'niyah Seneus, Kohen Seneus, & Emmitt Griffin.  She is also survived by a cousin, Sherry Fullen, & many nieces & nephews. 

Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at Cross Point Free Will Baptist Church- 1515 E Harry St, Wichita, Kansas 67211. (Please park on the west side of the church and enter the double doors by the parking lot)
