Sharon Kay (Knight) Hower

Sharon Kay Hower, 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 3rd, 2024.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9th 11:00 AM at Evidence Church 11135 W. Kellogg Dr. in Wichita.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents John and Berniece Knight; brothers, Eddie Knight and Buddy Knight; and sisters, Karen Wells, Jean Aragon, Donna Dottery, and LaVerne Rice. Survivors include her husband, Frank Hower of the home; son, John Hower and wife Suzie of Peyton, CO; and granddaughter Kinley Hower of Peyton, CO.

Sharon was deeply devoted to her family and friends along with having a strong faith in God.  She retired in 2008 after over 20 years in the printing industry as an administrative professional and bookkeeper.  Her interests included music and singing, church activities, socializing with friends, drawing, baking, reading mysteries, playing board games, and traveling.  In her retirement years she was able to go on several bus travel tours and cruises which she enjoyed very much.  Sharon will be dearly missed however we know she is now with her family in heaven.
