Stephanie D (Horsch) Blair

Stephanie Deann Blair, 59, passed away on November 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Damon and Brenda Horsch on June 3, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas. Stephanie was a loving mother to her nine children, Robin, Will, Luke, Hana, Blake, Seth, Carter, Sophia, and Asher. She loved the opportunity to celebrate any occasion and would put together fun potlucks to get her family together even more. Stephanie was a very creative person, had a knack for interior design, and was an incredible gardener. She loved flowers and took great joy in making her front yard a beautiful scene every year through careful landscaping and the planting of gorgeous flowers. She loved animals, babies and truly anything small enough to be cuddled. She was a people person, which was demonstrated by her 35-year nursing career, and the patients who loved her. Stephanie was a special person who touched the lives of anyone she encountered, she lived a life of giving joy to others by spreading positivity, love and happiness. She lived for others and sacrificed everything for it.

She is preceded in death by her father, Damon Horsch; sons, Will Blair and Asher Blair; brother, Shaun Horsch; and grandson, Ezra Davis.

Stephanie is survived by mother, Brenda Horsch; children, Robin (Scott) Davis, Luke (Skylar) Collins-Blair, Hana Blair, Blake (Princess) Blair, Sophia Blair, Seth Jones, and Carter Smith; siblings, Christie (Michael) Rowland, Todd (Sonya) Horsch, Joshua (Christina) Horsch; grandchildren, William, Nora, Dawson, Ezekiel and Elijah.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass will be held for Stephanie at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Wednesday November 22, 2023 starting at 10:30 AM. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM in Resurrection Cemetery.

The family kindly asks that floral arrangements be of cut flowers which will surround Stephanie at the time of her burial. Floral arrangements may be delivered to Holy Savior Catholic Church on November 22, 2023 between 9-10 AM or to Wulf-Ast Mortuary at 911 Biermann St in Garden Plain, Kansas on November 21, 2023 between 10 AM and 4 PM.
