Susan Marie Schechter

Susan Marie Schechter was born on May 19th, 1949. One of the main themes throughout her life was family. She had her parents, Kaye and Russell Yoder, her many siblings and nieces/nephews (both natural and adopted), her chosen family Cheryl and Ethel, and her beloved work family from her many years working at Walmart.

In her 20’s Susan married and began to build her own little family. She had a son, Terry, and a daughter, Tammy. Susan was then blessed with three granddaughters about whom she couldn’t resist bragging on occasion.

Susan enjoyed gardening, visiting the botanical gardens, seeing the otters at the zoo, and watching colorful birds. Cardinals, hummingbirds, and ladybugs were some of her favorite things. (Also chocolate ice cream! Or any chocolate, really...)

Sadly, Susan suffered a stroke, and passed away from complications on August 15th, 2024. She will be missed greatly.
