Timothy "Tim" Lee Snyder

Timothy “Tim” Snyder was born 11/8/1954 to Gordon and Joan Snyder in San Diego, California. He passed away on 10/7/2023 at St Teresa Hospital in Wichita, KS., surrounded by loved ones. Tim had 4 brothers and 1 sister. Tim moved around a lot as a child as his dad served in the US Air Force. He shared many fond memories of living in Germany and in Michigan. As an adult, he called Mulvane, Kansas home for many years until moving to Cheney to be closer to the lake. Tim was married and was the bonus dad to 5 children, whom he helped to raise and called his own. Tim has 9 grandchildren and adored each of them. Little else out there brought as much joy and happiness as his grandchildren. Tim loved to watch them play sports (especially football), take them fishing, and have barbecues. Tim leaves behind numerous loved ones, including nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. As a celebration of life, Tim requested those closest to him to go out to his favorite lake, go fishing, barbecue, and to reminisce about the good times. This will be planned in the springtime.
