Verna Christine Bagby

Verna Christine Bagby, 67, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born April 2, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Elsie Critchfield.

Verna attended Lyons High School and then went on to get her cosmetology license from Barton County. 

On December 26, 1972, Verna married Ronnie Bagby. They later divorced. She went on to marry Robert Bagby on March 19, 1997. 

She is survived by her children Randy Bagby (Nevada), Thad Bagby (Glena), Daniel Davis (Jana), Trey Bagby (Hannah), Justin Bagby, Veronica Sheets, Stephanie Cornelius (David), Aaron Bagby, Kelli Bagby, April Davis, and Cassie Treaster; brothers Doug Thurman and Joe Critchfield (Tina); sisters, Vivian Bliss (John), Patsy Rameriz (Moe) and Dori Prebble (Andy), and her significant other, Curtis Clark. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bagby, mother Elise Critchfield, brothers Leonard and Darrel Thurman, daughter Angela Bagby, granddaughter Courtney Cornelius and great-granddaughter Renea Dewitt.
