Walter Franklin “Frank” DePriest, aged 76, passed away on October 31, 2024, in Wichita, KS.

Frank is survived by: his wife, Haidee; children, Carmen Oropesa (Matthew) and Ian DePriest; grandson, Cristiano Morris; great-granddaughter, Nadine Morris; Siblings, Ronald (Vann), Connie Thomas, Joyce Penrod, Alta Jones and June DePriest; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Frank was preceded in death by: his father, John Taylor, Sr.; his mother, Verna; and two brothers, John Taylor, Jr. and James.

A Celebration of Frank’s life will be Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1020 N. 2nd Ave. Mulvane, Kansas. A Private Graveside will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Orpheum Theater 200 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202.
