Cathryn D. Spexarth

Cathryn D. (Blick) Spexarth, 101, passed away on May 30, 2018 in Colwich. Our beloved mother, Catty Spexarth left us to be received by her Heavenly Father. While, we her family, say goodbye with heavy hearts, we feel blessed to have had her in our lives for so long. She was born in Colwich on Feb. 13 1917 to William and Johanna (Geiger) Blick. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank of 55 years, her siblings Rhinard Blick, Marie Blick, Jody Dye and Freda Randle, and son-in-law, Tom Breitenbach. Survived by children; Helen Breitenbach of Orange, CA., Ted (Catherine) Spexarth of Colwich, Joan (Dennis) Stockemer of Wichita and Karen (Bob) Burns of Abilene, her loving companion Ralph Spexarth and his family, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., with the Funeral Mass on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich. Father Joachim Spexarth, Father Nicholas Ast, Father Jerome Spexarth, Father Dan Spexarth and Father Andrew Seiler will officiate. Donations in Cathryn's name may be made to St. Gregory's Abbey, 1900 W. Mcarthur Blvd, Shawnee,OK 74804, and Sacred Heart Bldg. Fund in Colwich.
